Hi. This is my very first post on my very first blog. I hope to communicate my random thoughts, stories, movie reviews, book reviews, and common going-ons here.
So what is going on today? I am very excited because today is I-DAY. Iron Man is being released on dvd today. Spanking Spiderman 2, the previous gold standard of comic book movies, Iron Man stands in an unflinching staring contest against The Incredibles as the best superhero flick of all time. For those of you who prefer the Dark Knight Returns, you are sorely mistaken. Tony Stark kicks Bruce Wayne's melancholy butt, but we'll save that argument for another time. It would involve spoilers and stuff that I haven't figure out how to handle yet.
In any case, I'm all ready with my blu-ray Netflix queue, big screen tv, and spanking new PS3.

Whenever ya see a cop beatin' a guy. Werever a hungry new born baby cries. Wherever there's a fight against the blood and hatred in the air. Look for me ma, I'll be there. Wherever somebodies struggling for a place to stand. For a decent job or a helpin' hand. Wherever somebody is struggling to be free. Look in their eyes ma, you'll see me!!!! - John Steinbeck channeled through Tom Joad channeled through Zack de la Rocha
